This week I had the pleasure of visiting the Pathway to Hope Pregnancy Care Center in Hamilton, OH. This organization has had an amazing year of growth and fulfillment of a vision that has resulted in the opening of a brand new spacious facility to minister to the needs of women and men in the community who are coping with the reality of an unplanned pregnancy.
The center provides pregnancy testing, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal information and education, gently used clothing, formula, baby food, diapers, wipes, car seats, strollers, cribs, etc. as well as referrals for medical care, social services, adoption, and other community resources.
Another unique resource Pathway to Hope provides is Fatherhood mentoring. Men coaches are trained to walk alongside expecting fathers and share in their journey. The center is actively recruiting men to step into this role as a mentor.
Parenting classes, bible studies, and other gatherings are held in this portion of the building.
Counseling occurs in these comfortable rooms.
Moms are also blessed with free professional photographs with their baby after birth by local photographer Cassie Herrmann.
Today, I was blessed to participate in an adoption hearing as the photographer. I had never been in a court room for an adoption, and it was really a beautiful event to witness. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, including my own, which did make it tricky to take pictures there for a minute! Please take a look at these photographs, and grab a tissue.
And then the tears started to flow...
I absolutely love photographing high school seniors. I love how the student starts out feeling not so confident in how to do this photo session thing, and within minutes they relax and warm up to the camera and we end up having a blast.
I am now offering 30, 60, and 90 minute high-school senior sessions. This is an example of a 30 minute session. We were able to get several different backgrounds at one location, throw in a few shirt changes, and knock the session out in that time.
I take pictures both vertically and horizontally, close-up and full-length. Witt ended up with over 50 images that his family can download and use as they please for printing.
Fall is finally here! The leaves are at their peak, and this family had a gorgeous night at the park for family pictures.
Twins!! I love photographing toddlers, but twin boys was a real treat! These guys were so full of personality and it was a joy to take their pictures. We started this photography session indoors and then moved outside for some family pictures. These guys are the cutest!
I enjoy taking pictures of high school seniors so much! They often feel self-conscious in front of the camera, but after a few minutes they begin to go with the moment and really enjoy themselves. This senior was a photographer's dream. She is truly beautiful inside and out!
I do love me some fall outdoor backyard family photography sessions! These are the best. It is low stress for families, doggies are happily involved, and it is convenient for everyone! These lovely ladies and their parents were so much fun to photograph. Here are a few highlights from the evening.
As summer comes to its close, there have still been plenty of hot days here in southern Ohio! This family photography portrait session was located at a park in Trenton, OH, complete with a breathtaking sunset and several hot air balloons passing by. It was in the mid-80s during this session, but these boys and their parents were troopers!
If you have lived in Mason for any length of time, you may recognize some of these fine folks. I have known this family for over 20 years already, and always have a blast spending time with them. Taking their family photos is always lots of fun. Here are some of the highlights!
If you need a dose of cuteness, look no further. These guys are always a blast to photograph and today was no exception. And now the baby of the family is no longer a baby! Levi is 1! Welcome to toddlerhood.
